Dear Marines, It is hard to believe that another school year is coming to a close and we are gearing up for next year! The Hamilton Community School Athletic Department will be holding a MANDATORY orientation meeting for all student-athletes and parents/guardians on Wednesday, July 26th at 7:00pm. Please enter through Door 1 / HS Main Entrance as the meeting will take place in the main gymnasium. You will receive information on: - Parent and Student-Athlete Expectations - Eligibility Requirements - Student-Athlete Code of Conduct - Final Forms Registration Process - Bigger, Faster, Stronger Program Implementation NEW THIS YEAR: In addition to this year’s kickoff orientation, representatives from the Cameron Medical Group will be hosting a sports physical clinic for all middle school and high school student-athletes from 3pm-6:30pm. Appointments are necessary and more information is attached to this correspondence. As a reminder, a physical must be on file with the Athletic Office for the student-athlete to be eligible to participate. IMPORTANT DATES: Summer Conditioning – Week 1 | June 12-15th at 7:00am-8:30am Summer Conditioning – Week 2 | June 19-22nd at 7:00am-8:30am Summer Conditioning – Week 3 | June 26-29th at 7:00am-8:30am IHSAA MORATORIUM – July 3-8th (NO ACTIVITIES) HCS MORATORIUM – July 10-15th (NO ACTIVITIES) Summer Conditioning – Week 4 | July 17-20th at 7:00-8:30am Summer Conditioning – Week 5 | July 24-27th at 7:00am-8:30am KICK OFF ATHLETIC MEETING – July 26th (Physicals @ 3:00-6:30pm / Athletic Meeting @ 7:00pm) Fall Sports First Day of Practice – July 31st (HS Volleyball, HS Cross Country) First Day of Classes – August 9th It takes a village to provide the best environment for our youth at Hamilton. HCS recognizes that you are the most valuable members of your student-athlete’s experience. After the main orientation, there will be a chance to meet and greet our coaching staff.
