August 20th 2025 The Hamilton Lady Marines (1-2) picked up a strong road win last night, defeating the Westview Warriors JV team 3–1. Hamilton came out sharp, taking the opening set 25–10 before edging out a close second set 25–23. Westview battled back to win the third set 25–22, but the Marines closed the match in convincing fashion with a dominant 25–12 victory in the fourth. Akira Geeraedts made her presence felt at the net with 5 solo blocks, while Marissa Mercer anchored the defense with 4 digs. From the service line, Harlow Price tallied 6 aces, and TeigAnn Freed provided offensive firepower with 5 kills. The Lady Marines will be back in action on Monday, August 25th at 6:00 p.m. when they host the Bishop Luers JV team.
