Marines Take on West Noble

April 16th 2025 The Hamilton Marines were back in action at Jim Sanxter Field on Wednesday night as they hosted West Noble. The Chargers got things rolling early on scoring 7 runs in the top of the first. Jagger Hurraw ripped a double down the left field line in the bottom of the first, advanced to third on a pass ball and then scored on a ground out from Zane Ritter. West Noble had 3 runs cross the plate in the top of the second bringing the score to 1-10 after two. The Chargers put 3 more runs on the board in the third inning bringing the score to 1-13. Hurraw smoked a double off the left field wall to lead off the bottom of the 3rd. Ritter hit into a fielder's choice advancing Hurraw to third which eventually scored on a passed ball closing out the inning 2-13. The Chargers scored 4 in the top of the fourth to make the score 2-17. West Noble added 8 in the fifth bring the final score to 2-25. Hamilton is back in action on Saturday morning as we host the Bombers of Edon as part of a makeup game from earlier in April. First pitch is set for 11:00am.
